Water2Carbon
Rationale
To limit global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2050, measures to reduce CO2 emissions are no longer enough. The task now is to actively remove CO2 from the atmosphere, in combination with other appropriate measures.
With our new "Water2Carbon" we are solving the challenges of global warming coupled with active water protection.
And this is how we solve the challenges and combine wastewater treatment with active climate protection.

Principle
Wastewater is efficiently treated in a wastewater treatment plant followed by a plant stage. The treated wastewater is used to irrigate a bamboo plantation where carbon capture takes place. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants and can bind up to 1.8 tons of CO2 per ton.
This bamboo is regularly harvested and removed from the biosphere. By, for example, burying it or making biochar, we create permanent carbon sinks. The plant carbon in turn can be used in agriculture or wastewater technology.
Simply said: bound CO2 is created from the resource wastewater - geoengineering made by ATB.
